If any of you have some experiences (positive or negative) to share with
using Choice Reviews online, I would like to know. We are switching over
in January and are wondering how to actively engage faculty in the use of
the online product. We have used Choice cards for years and at least we
assumed those were being routed to people within departments.

 Thanks.

We've just cancelled our subscription to Choice Reviews Online and
decided to go with cards instead. While I like the history and the
ability to profile sets of reviews in the online version, the biggest
problem I saw was in the transition from selecting to acquiring. With
cards or the actual magazine, if an item is marked for ordering,
everyone else knows it - they see the mark or they don't see the card if
it's held out. In the online version, I could find no way to mark an
item as being selected so that all the selectors would know it and
therefore no way to prevent duplicate selections, which could cause a
lot of problems for the acquisitions folks.
