The Administration of Collection Development Committee of the Collection
Management and Development Section of ALCTS is distributing a survey
to be completed by collection development administrators. The survey
focuses on a library's organizational approach to the staffing,
budgeting, and management of electronic resources. The results of the
survey will be published and presented at an upcoming ALA annual
meeting. The intent of the survey is to provide useful information to
assist administrators in the development and management of electronic
resources.
We ask that the chief collection development administrator of
each institution respond to the survey. The survey will take about 10-15
minutes to complete. The survey is in web form at
http://ALCTS.jocolibrary.org . The deadline for submission is
January 7, 2002.
