From: Steve Stratton <sestratt_at_vcu.edu>

Like a couple others that have replied, here at VCU the decision to purchase
SciFinder, 24 hour access and all the searching modules was made with the
savings
from cancelling the paper version. It was not accomplished easily, nor was the
decision made overnight. The faculty were more concerned with access from their
desktops on the whole and that was how the decision was based. Lack of use of
the
print version is clear. We do get an occasional assignment for paper but it is
handled with the older versions and not the new.
