The University of Missouri-St. Louis Libraries seek applicants for the
following positions.
Head of Collection Development
Duties: Provides leadership, develops policies, coordinates projects, and
oversees all aspects of the Libraries' collection development process.
Requirements: ALA accredited MLS, at least five years of professional
library experience, collection development experience in a mid-size or large
academic library, demonstrated abilities in coordinating people and tasks,
exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Head, Technical Services
Duties: Provides leadership, develops policies, coordinates projects, and
oversees all aspects of the Libraries' Technical Services Department.
Requirements: ALA accredited MLS, at least five years of professional
technical services experience in a mid-size or large academic library,
demonstrated supervisory abilities, excellent written and verbal
communication skills.
Both positions report to the Director of Libraries and are part of the
Libraries' Administrative Group.
