At the University of Utah, we did a study of all print Wiley titles and
found that the average price increased from $735 in 1997 to $1,296
in 2000. This is an average price increase of $561 per title in three
years. (We do calculate these things in percentages, but since we
pay our bills and get our budget in dollars, we focus on those.)

Electronic access, of course, has been "free", but that's a funny
sort of "free".

We're going to go with print only and wait to see what we hear from
our patrons - if there are some titles no one calls about, we can
cancel them.
