LIBRARIAN (two positions), 12 months, tenure-track.
 
Eastern Illinois University 

Professional librarian (2) sought to provide quality public service with
specific responsibilities in two or more of the following areas: reference
and instruction, electronic resources management, collection development
and faculty liaison for physical science areas, webpage development, grants
and development.  Other areas will be considered depending on the
qualifications and experience of the applicant.  Position may include
supervision of civil service and student assistants.  Demonstrated planning
and organizational skills, a public service orientation, and strong
interpersonal and communication skills are required.  Candidates must
possess an ALA-accredited MLS; second master's preferred and required for
assistant professor rank and for tenure. Preference given to candidates
with experience in one or more of the areas listed above, plus supervisory
experience.  Starting date: November 1, 2001, or as soon as possible.

are filled.  Salary: $49,380 minimum annual salary for tenure-track
assistant professor, dependent upon qualifications.  Send letter of
