Subject: RE: (Response) Faculty Authors
Oregon State University has an Authors/Editors reception hosted by the
Executive Vice Provost. This annual reception recognizes book authors,
editors in chief of journals and patent recipients and displays their
works. The display moves to the library after the reception.
For the reception, the library verifies material against the
criteria and creates a bibliography. This is well received and
attended primarily because of the high level administrative
attention it receives. The authors are invited to
donate their works to the library.
