Colleagues,

I'm chairing a committee in my library that is organizing our
exhibit and reception for faculty/staff authors this year. We're
looking for examples of web pages by other libraries concerning
faculty book recognition.

A related issue we're looking at is faculty book collections.
Buying books by your faculty is obviously a good idea, both useful
and good p.r., but is it stipulated in your collecting policies? I
know at least one library, Michigan State, has a separate location
for a Faculty Book Collection. Are there any other libraries doing
this?

Thanks for any answers to me at lijpn_at_lib.ttu.edu. I'll summarize
replies for the list.
