Hi folks:

When a cancel decision has to be made regarding 
reference sources, is the decision made solely by 
the library or is it a decision made involving
faculty?

We are a 4 year academic library in which the decision 
was made by the Library to cancel Social Sciences 
Citation Index. Faculty, students and library staff
were/are upset with this decision. Does anyone know 
of any reference tool comparable to the SSCI with 
regard to searching if all you have is a
secondary or third author?
