Although I've gotten good at ignoring the banner ads that festoon all too 
many web sites, virtually to the point of "not seeing" them, I still find 
them to be a bother. I'd rather have a banner-free site that allows more 
display room for the contents that I really want to see.

I'd be very opposed to an attempt to establish a profile on my use of a 
library site, whether through a survey or by other means.
