  We are beginning to think about how we will move
from VHS to DVD.  This is problematic because of the
large installed base on campus of vhs players and the
large holdings of vhs tapes, but the advantages of dvd
are clear for instructional use.

Have other universities developed plans to phase in DVD?  

Does a player exists to play vhs or dvd in the same box?

Suggestions for an institutional-quality dvd player to purchase?
