Reference and Distance Learning Librarian
(12 Month Tenure-Track Faculty Position)

Salary: Competitive
Duties:
Provide reference services using traditional and electronic means.
Plan, implement and evaluate library support services for
Distance Learning.
Serve as liaison to distance learning sites.
Assist in Library instruction.
Participate in collection development
Maintain evening and weekend hours as needed.
College and community service activities as assigned
Qualifications:
MLA/MLS from an ALA accredited program.
Strong service orientation.
Ability to communicate and teach effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Manifested ability to deal with diverse populations of students.
Commitment to professional growth
1 to 3 years experience in an academic library with experience
in extended education preferred.
An understanding of, and commitment to, the comprehensive
community college concept.
