The Department of Library and Information Studies at the University at
Buffalo will again formally offer a graduate level course by  Internet
Distance Learning during the Spring 2000 Semester (from January 20 -
April 30).

Students may take Marketing of Information Services for graduate or
continuing education (CE) credit. This course addresses library
community needs assessment (marketing), merchandising, public relations
and the packaging of information to meet user needs.  Students must have
access to a computer connected to the Internet throughout the semester.
