VACANCY - University of Rhode Island Library

Assistant/Associate Professor (Coordinator of Bibliographic Services and
Systems).  

Required:  graduate degree in librarianship from an ALA-accredited institution;
minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in
academic library technical services, including some experience at the
supervisory level; knowledge of and
experience with library automated systems and services; excellent verbal,
written and interpersonal skills; knowledge of standards, issues and trends in
acquisitions, technical services, digital library initiatives, metadata
electronic publishing and copyright.  

Preferred:  proven managerial and leadership experience; knowledge of Innovative
Interfaces;
experience with resource-sharing consortia.  

This is a tenure track, 12 month calendar year position.  Review of applications
