Does anyone out there have a formula that uses more than 1.5 for weighted
graduate Student credit hours? My problem is I increased graduates hours
and some departments with graduate degrees ended up with less money even
though more weight is placed on the graduate credit hours. --Sharon

We weight lower division as 0.5, upper division as 1, graduate (master's)
as 2, and EdD and EdS as 2.5. We apply these weights across all relevant
factors (# of faculty, credit hours taught, and # of majors). Being a
regional university the Univ of West Florida doesn't have an array of
doctoral programs at present.
