no.2109-ELECTRONIC COLLECTION DVLP. POLICIES
From: "James Jenkins" <jenkijh_at_groupwise1.duc.auburn.edu>
Our library is in the process of developing a Collection
Development
Policy for electronic resources (databases, internet, cd-rom
etc.).
Does anyone have or know of an example of a policy of this
type that
we could look at to get some ideas/liberally borrow from?

I will say my usual piece:
I do not believe in separate CD policies for electronic
products. There
should be only one policy with a distinction in procedures
between
e-products (requiring technical review before purchase &
licensing review
as well) & traditional products, which can be ordered
through long-extant
processes.
