Our library currently has the following publications dating back to the
early 1980's:

Moody's Manuals (i.e. Industrial, Bank & Finance,  etc.)
Moody's Handbook of Common Stocks
Standard and Poor's Stock Reports (i.e. NYSE, OTC, ASE, etc.)

We are experiencing space problems and would like to discard some of these
publications.  Are there any guidelines or standards dealing with how far
back a library should retain these publications?  If there are no official
guidelines or standards, I would appreciate any suggestions or comments.
