DISCUSSION GROUP CHAIR(S) NEEDED
The ALCTS Scholarly Communication Discussion Group needs a
new chair (or co-chairs). Diane Harvey and Betty Day would
like to relinquish their discussion group duties. The
Discussion Group has been in existence for several years
and has had well-attended and interesting discussions at
ALA Annual and Midwinter. Recent topics have included
SPARC, electronic dissertations, licensing, and working
with faculty on scholarly communication issues. Anyone
interested in taking over the discussion group should
