Prior to leaving the country for 3 weeks in early October, I sent an
administratrivia message to the List address saying the List would be on
holiday for that time, etc. Unfortunately, I never received a copy of the
message back from listproc_at_usc.edu, as is normally the case, so I have no
indication whether or not subscribers were indeed notified of the planned
for downtime. Apologies for any resulting confusion and, in any event, the
List is back, and hopefully on a reasonably regular schedule.
