Plans are underway for a major conference to be held in early November of
1999 with the theme CREATING NEW STRATEGIES FOR COOPERATIVE COLLECTION
DEVELOPMENT. It is part of a 50 year anniversary celebration of the Center
for Research Libraries and will be co-sponsored by ARL, CLIR, ICOLC, and
RLG.
As the planning committee develops the agenda and the outline of the
program sessions, we would very much like to have your thoughts on the most
pressing issues in this broad field. We appreciate your contributions and
ask that you send suggestions for topics and questions to be addressed by
the conference to Milton T. Wolf (wolf_at_crlmail.uchicago.edu). Thank you.
