We have scheduled a memorial service for Mario Casalini at the Library of
Congress during ALA. This will bew held on Monday, June 29, beginning at
1:00; it will probably last until about 2:30. The service will be held in
the Thomas Jefferson Building, Room LJ119. This room is located on the
first floor (European system), in the north corridor (Supreme Court side)
off the Great Hall. The service is being coordinated by Assunta Pisani and
by Carol Armbruster, LC's French and Italian specialist. I hope you will
be able to join with us to pay tribute to a man who did so much to build
our collections.
