Who in your libraries has authority for selecting links for your
home pages? Is this a responsibility of collection development
staff? Please send comments. Thanks. -- Catherine Reiter

Each librarian serving as a liaison selects web links for their
respective areas. These links are normally selected from literature
review sources, i.e. LJ, Choice, professional journals, etc. rather than
from surfing.

Our selectors are dual-assignment, and all can select free Web links. Pay
Web links go through the electronic products process from selector to me as
chair of the products committee.
