Associate Director for Collection Management

The Associate Director for Collection Management is responsible for
activities that result in an orderly and accessible collection:
technical services, special collections, and archives. Supervises 6 FTE
as well as student assistants and manages the material and financial
resources allocated for collection management activities. Serves as a
member of the library's administrative council and advises the director
on matters of library-wide policy. Qualifications include: MLS; eight or
more years progressively responsible experience in technical
services/special collections in an academic library; three or more years
supervisory experience; excellent communications skills; the ability to
interact with diverse groups of people; and the ability to flourish in a
rapidly changing library environment. Salary will be competitive and
