Geez! Three weeks ago an administratrivia message went out saying postings
to COLLDV-L would be resuming shortly, but nothing has appeared since.
Chalk it up to a significant dose of too much of everything, including an
unexpected hospitalization (everything is fine now!), in the interim. But
this time, messages really are resuming, immediately after this posting.
ALA Annual Meeting Notices have started to arrive in the posting queue;
this time around we will be batching them for priority distribution the
week of 15 June on the List, rather than posting them as they arrive.

In the meantime, some perhaps useful editorial policy reminders, which we
haven't distributed for a long while:

1.	COLLDV-L is primarily focused on collection development issues,
however broadly defined. It is NOT a general, all-purpose, library list.
If you submit a posting and it never appears it probably wasn't
sufficiently coll. dvlp.
focused.

2.	In light of the previous note, only position openings that are
primarily or significantly collection development-related will be posted.

3.	You may wish to keep in mind the procedure for setting the List to
nomail when you are away from e-mail:

Send the following message to Listproc_at_usc.edu:
		Set COLLDV-L Mail Postpone

	[this exact syntax is required!]

To resume receipt of mail, do as above, except leave out Postpone

4.	To unsubscribe from COLLDV-L:

Send the following message to Listproc_at_usc.edu:
		Unsubscribe COLLDV-L

[This only will work if you unsubscribe from exactly the same
e-mail address used with your initial subscription! If your e-mail
address has changed in the interim, please contact me directly.]

Thanks.
