this format. It may be of interest to collection development librarians.

Announcing a new library listserv for microforms managers: MICROFORMS
The MICROFORMS list is intended to serve as an online discussion of the
organization, preservation, use, and other public service aspects of
library microforms collections. MICROFORMS has a home page:
<http://libweb.uoregon.edu/govdocs/micrlist.htm>. Suggestions for
relevant material or links to go on the page will be very welcome.
Topics that could be addressed:
* Best practices and policies for public service
* Bibliographic control of MF sets; e.g., analytic records in
OPACs
* Equipment reviews
* Preservation of public-use collections
* Collection development issues
* New developments in microform technology
