The State Historical Society of Wisconsin in Madison, WI will soon be
initiating recruitment for a collections development librarian.  The
position requires significant library background, especially in
acquisitions and library conservation; advanced knowledge of the literature
and research methods in North American history, genealogy and related
fields; up-to-date expertise in the book trade, serials acquisitions, and
electronic information products; mastery of library automation
applications; excellent interpersonal communications skills; ability to
teach classes and lead workshops; and effective supervisory and management
skills.
