Reference and Collection Development Librarian for Social Sciences
Responsible for management and selection of relevant resources in
anthropology and related social science disciplines in all formats;
reference assistance; faculty and student liaison; and user education.
Requires: ALA accredited MLS, subject masters degree for tenure; two
years public service and/or collection development experience in an
academic or research library; graduate work in a social science,
preferably anthropology. Experience with print and electronic library
resources and services, electronic information retrieval, Internet and
other electronic resources, and user education. Excellent oral and
written communication skills; strong service orientation. Faculty
status, attractive benefits package. Minimum: $34,000. Send resume
