REVISED CALL FOR JOURNAL OVERLAP
CONSULTANT

The Council of New Jersey College and
University Library Directors seeks an experienced
consultant, during the period of December '97-April
'98, to assist in the review and interpretation of the
results of a Statewide journal overlap analysis. The
purpose of the journal overlap analysis is to
increase resource sharing within the State and to
provide individual libraries with empirical data
about their collections relative to others in New
Jersey. The consultant will work with a steering
committee to review the overlap data, recommend
strategies and possible models for resource
sharing and prepare and present two workshops
for all participating members of the Council. If you
are interested, please send a letter of application
by November 4, 1997, including relevant
qualifications and salary requirements, and a
statement identifying three trends in periodical
resource sharing among statewide academic
library consortia that may be applicable to New
Jersey, to: Dr. Anne Ciliberti, Sarah Byrd Askew
Library, William Paterson University of New Jersey,
300 Pompton Rd., Wayne, NJ 07470.
