We are using collecton development procedures to select information from
the Internet.  That is, selection, acquisition and maintenance.  The
subject specialists will select the sites of interest and content then
link these sites to their subject specific areas.  A problem is that these
sites sometimes unconnect and the user is left with 404.  What site?
Error? The Librarian may consider using a robot of sorts like Harvest.
This may solve the problem.  If anyone else is using Harvest for
collections on the Internet, please contact me at:
