We have an "Internet Resources" section on our home page. Librarians are
responsible for selecting sites in specific academic disciplines. They are
also responsible for updating the sites. Some do so regularly and some do
not.

Are these activities generally integrated into the collection management
responsibilities of librarians? Or, are such activities conducted by one
individual?

Additionally, are these activities perceived as particularly relevant,
considering the variety of search tools currently available?

Thanks,
