Does anybody know if there is a number that is normally given for the
cost of getting a book onto the library shelves above and beyond the
price of the book itself?
Thanks, Robin Lent

The University of Arizona Library is in the final stages of a process
improvement project that involves a detailed costing of book
acquisitions and cataloging. The team publishes updates on its WWW
page at the following URL:
http://www.library.arizona.edu/users/kwilliam/pi/piteam.htm
I suggest that you check the WWW page over the next few months or
contact me directly for the cost data.
