I'm working on an article for Library Journal on the publishing of science
books, including those from major trade publishers (S&S, etc.) plus trade
imprints like Springer-Verlag's Copernicus, Addison-Wesley's Helix
as well as more specialized S/T/M publishers

I'm interested in librarians' views of current offerings:

1. Are you (and your patrons) satisfied with what's being published? Is
there too much in one area, or not enough in another area? What are you
looking for?

2. How much feedback do you give publishers? Have they responded to
any of your questions/concerns/requests?

Please contact me directly with your comments. If requested, your
anonymity will be preserved. I'd appreciate responses ASAP, but at least
before the end of the year.

Thanks for your cooperation.
