I would like to hear from collection development librarians who have
support staff working with them on various projects involving collection
evaluations, gift collections, statistical projects, etc.  Specifically, I
am interested in the job qualifications sought/specified for this kind of
work and what kind of work they do and how that is coordinated with the
collection development librarian, such as the work flow for decision
making about material withdrawal, preservation, etc.  I am also
interested in any advice about training and skill levels for this kind of
position.
