We are a community college library in the process of developing a CD-ROM
network. I have two questions:

1. Is there an allied health database (either CD-ROM or online) that
provides full text journal articles applicable to community college allied
health programs? So far, we have the Infotrac Health Reference Center and
CINAHL. Infotrac provides some full text, but at a popular level and at the
professinal physician level. CINAHL is primarily indexing and abstracting. A
year ago, UMI was promising an online Proquest allied health database, but I
haven't heard anything further. Infotrac said they were "in negotiation"
with about 30 nursing journals to add them full text, but I haven't heard
anything further on that either.

2. Are there any new good CD-ROM databases applicable to the community
college curriculum you would recommend?
