Come join us in person for the 100th meeting of the Potomac Technical Processing Librarians. This year's program is "The Future of Libraries and AI: The Good, the Bad, and the TBD." Our meeting will feature speakers sharing their thoughts and experiences around artificial intelligence in creative spaces, libraries, and museums. We will be meeting from 9:30-4pm on Nov. 15, 2024 at the Montclair Library, 5049 Waterway Drive, Dumfries, VA 22025.
Keynote Speaker: R. David Lankes (University of Texas at Austin). Speakers: Caroline Saccucci and Abigail Potter (Library of Congress), Kelly McKernan (independent artist), and Richard Naples (Smithsonian Libraries and Archives).
Registration information:
Registration fee includes PTPL membership and the conference. Light refreshments, coffee, tea, and lunch will also be provided.
Please note the deadlines below. Registration is limited to 75 persons.
