The Texas A&M University Libraries is now accepting applicants for a new Collections Strategist Librarian!
The Associate or Assistant Librarian (Collections Strategist) will actively & collaboratively engage in collection assessment approaches in response to emerging university research and teaching priorities; research and help implement new collection services and strategies to ensure collections remain current and relevant; and advocate for open access initiatives. A major role of this position will be to identify, analyze, and visualize institutional data, usage, and other metrics to help the Libraries make informed, data-driven decisions in open access, demand-driven, and evidence-based programs that impact and enhance student learning and faculty research by ensuring the Libraries are cultivating and acquiring resources our patrons need.
