Specifically, the Electronic Resources Librarian:

Partners with the Acquisitions Librarian and staff on the ordering and
payment activity of electronic resources;
-
Develops and maintains tools for the management of electronic resources;
-
Establishes and documents library procedures and best practices for the
acquisition, licensing, implementation, assessment, and budgeting of
electronic resources;
-
Works with colleagues to provide access to electronic resources and to
optimize resource discovery;
-
Works with vendors to resolve technical issues and manages EZproxy for
remote access;
-
Collects, analyzes, and presents use, purchase, and availability data of
electronic resources;
-
Monitors trends and best practices related to electronic resource
access, discoverability, data harvesting, usage analysis, and preservation
to enhance library services;

Works collaboratively to support metadata maintenance for electronic
resources and both print and digital serials;

Develops and implements the Law School's submissions to a shared
University institutional repository. Most notably, manages and maintains
the SLS faculty working papers in the institutional repository. Oversees
and coordinates IR workflows with other staff members;
- Serves on relevant RCLL and University-wide committees, as well as
pursuing professional development opportunities in local, regional, and
national organizations.
