Good morning, Amie!

I couldn't resist responding when I saw your note. Baker & Taylor can certainly provide those books for you. We are officially back serving academic libraries as a full service book vendor. We show real-time inventory status, have very speedy delivery, competitive discounts, and the world's largest inventory of books and A/V. If you'd like to explore this option, click my meeting link<https://meetings.hubspot.com/jeremy-link> to find a day/time to meet virtually, or message me directly with any questions.

Regards,

Good morning,

CMU Libraries currently uses Proquest Rialto to place firm orders for books. However, if a book is more than a couple of years old it seems impossible for them to acquire the title for us. What do other libraries do for books that are published 2-5 years ago, what book jobber do you use? Amazon is nice, but the extra work that it causes is problematic for a small staff to manage. Does anyone use Emery Pratt for these publications? We are a customer and have been for a long time, but we use them specifically for acquiring children's award books but could expand if they can handle the issue at hand.

What suggestions do you have?
