We have partnered with our local public library. They own the items (books,
audiobooks, and popular magazines), and refresh them occasionally. Items
are available to the faculty, staff, and students of our university only.
The public cannot come in to use this collection. Our people need to have a
local public library card, which our staff is trained to get them. We check
out the items against their public library account. It is a "browsing"
collection in that it is not represented in the catalog of either
institution.
Thank you,
Brian
