Our library acquires faculty authored or faculty edited books. We also buy
titles in which a faculty member has contributed a chapter. We find out
about the publications through our library liaisons, notices in our daily
campus news and through Google scholar alerts that were set up for all
faculty members. Sometimes authors will contact us directly and donate a
copy of their work. We make the books easy to discover through our online
catalog. They are featured as a collection in Primo: Michigan Tech Authored
Collection.
