Hello, Rogelio.
I am not involved in book acquisitions or weeding in my library, but I understand from those who do that our library is using Better World Books. When we went through a massive weed in 2016, they helped us by buying books we were discarding from the collection and what they did not sell, they distributed to libraries around the world. They also sent boxes to pack books in.
Sincerely,
--

Greetings to all,
Does anyone in the list have experience working with companies like Cash4YourBooks ( [ http://www.cash4yourbooks.net/ | http://www.cash4yourbooks.net/ ] ) or similar? We have many gift books that, after careful review by librarians, do not get added to our collections. We are not interested in selling this company (or similar) these materials but are considering their service for them to help us find a good home for donated books not needed in our library. Thanks in advance for your input,
