Spielbound would take care of them: http://www.spielbound.org/faq

They are a (brilliant) non-profit game library and gaming cafe.

If the Strong Museum of Play doesn't work out, you might want to ask at the Internet Archive<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__archive.org_about_&d=DwMFaQ&c=vMfcx96HwL1EWlh7C08MXw&r=PaW1HBabl1G8Dq8qizoxh3DCeEPmAfVhEMLDHvDeIyw&m=j-BsTmvlZ6-C2ZpVnhgFRjoMTTo8olIrmgtEQ_yDqAM&s=udI4Z6aC5CRWi4RGgjYLAaSejE4ELBLrBl_1qw_oyTA&e=>. While it has a digital focus, they are collecting some physical items (books at least) to preserve and might take them. And if they don't want them, they might be able to provide additional leads.

Or maybe check with the American Game Collectors Association now called the Association for Games & Puzzles International<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.agpc.org_&d=DwMFaQ&c=vMfcx96HwL1EWlh7C08MXw&r=PaW1HBabl1G8Dq8qizoxh3DCeEPmAfVhEMLDHvDeIyw&m=j-BsTmvlZ6-C2ZpVnhgFRjoMTTo8olIrmgtEQ_yDqAM&s=jmTfgYAXwikbjdHnwAL7Z-FLkfz8gXYmkUOA0vMMB00&e=>.

They collect toys and games of all sorts. Not sure if they would be interested in these, specifically, but might be worth a try. It’s the only place I know of off the top of my head.

Subject: [ALCTS-acqnet] Board Games Archive?

Hi all.

I have about 50 board games from a donation, and I was wondering if there's a board game archive somewhere that might be interested in them. The donor was a board game aficionado and they are all in excellent condition with all their pieces.

Thanks!
