Good morning –
We have an Amazon Business Account but only purchase books that aren’t available through our regular vendor. The advantage of setting up a business account is the tax exemption you can get (since Amazon is now applying tax to many of the orders). Shipping is a small cost since we don’t do a lot of ordering with Amazon – the tax exemption is worth the trade-off in paying shipping.

Subject: [ALCTS-acqnet] Does anyone use Amazon Business?
Good evening!
My library utilizes Amazon Prime (amongst other vendors) for acquisition of content. I’ve been getting a lot of advertisements encouraging me to create an Amazon Business account, but I’m concerned about losing some of the perk and benefits of the Prime account. Do any of you use Amazon Business, and if so, would you mind letting me know your experience with it?
