Damon,
We don't charge anyone for those things--we don't even charge for use of our space by other departments as long as a given space is available (I think there is some charge at the university level if someone from outside wants to hold an event in one of our event spaces, though). c.

Subject: [ALCTS-acqnet] Does your academic library charge for the collections dollars or staff time involved in supporting programs?
Hello, all!
Do any of your libraries charge or tax departments for the support and services you provide? Some examples include in-class Instruction/workshops, multidisciplinary resources paid for from library collections but heavily used by specific departments, work involved in managing subscriptions that are used/paid for by specific departments.
If so, I'd love to hear about how you came to this model, and what your experiences with it have been.
Thank you!
