Hi Mary,

I do not notify the faculty unless they ask that I do so. I do maintain an
Acquisitions libguide with a tab for all the titles purchased during a set
period. Here is the link
http://udallas.libguides.com/c.php?g=622804&p=4847754

For those titles that are flagged to notify, I let them know when it has
arrived and is on its way to cataloging. If it is a RUSH order, I notify
cataloging and they process those first. Otherwise, I give them a 1-2 week
window before it is shelf ready. I also ask if they want it placed on hold
in their name as that will trigger when circulation checks it in.
