Hi Mary,
If you use Sierra/Millennium, there is a way to populate the order record
with an email address and then set it up to send an automatic email to the
person once the book is cataloged. I'm not sure if another ILS would be
able to do the same thing. I have done this for one of my selectors, and
I'd be happy to share the process with you. (As would Innovative, I'm
sure.)
