Dear Acqnet followers of this question: I'm thinking that these webpages and guides provide an advocacy opportunity, to say what you do in a way that illustrates the value of what you do as workers in technical services. Whether your own staff, co-workers in public services, or beyond, how does a reader feel seeing something like "we order and pay for..." compared to something like "Every day we find and buy the books, journals and media that our researchers use."
