Andree,
Try MarcEdit. I have used it to open and view the files received from YBP.

Subject: [ALCTS-acqnet] Software for reading, editing, creating EDI / EDIFACT files
Hello Acquisitions and e-resources colleagues,
I've decided I want to learn more about EDIFACT order and invoice files, so that I can troubleshoot them when needed and be more a knowledgeable acquisitions librarian in general.
Can anyone recommend any (preferably free) software that allows for EDIFACT files to be read, edited, created?
Any other advice in general?
Thanks so much,
Andrée
