Subject: [ALCTS-acqnet] DVD vendor sameness
I check several online sites when purchasing DVDs because prices can vary widely. Recently, I noticed that three vendors seem to be very much the same. If one has an item, they all do and the item number is exactly the same. If one of them does not list an item, none of them do. If one shows a title as not available, they all show it as not available. The prices may differ a few cents. The copyright on all three sites is the same. The address for returning an item is exactly the same. For the two listing a phone number that is not toll-free, only the last digit is different.
