Film Platform is a relatively new player in the academic media market, but has been around for a few years. They offer high quality documentary fils, comparable to Tugg, Icarus, Cinema Guild, etc, with a strong focus on social issues.

Lyrasis is now offering a video “build-a-group” on a new platform (2014) that I have never heard of – Film Platform. On first glance, I can see that Stanford has it, but I don’t see any other academic libraries that have it. If you know of this platform and can provide me with product/platform feedback, I would greatly appreciate it.
We currently have streaming through Kanopy and Films on Demand.
